Illustration Friday - "Quiet"
Is there anything more amazingly quiet than an active, bouncy child absorbed in a book? I was inspired by Stephanie's photo of her child at Little Birds. I added the "journally" writing for fun to show the boy wrapped up in his silent adventuring.
Drawn with black micron pen in my sketchbook.

A child absorbed in something is a wonderful thing to witness, you captured that well! Nice crosshatching and penwork. Love micron pens myself too.
beautiful line work. i like the restful movement of the repeated word, 'quiet.' very effective.

Ps adventuring is serious stuff!
This must be an enthralling book your subject is reading! I love how you used typography to make a texture!
