This is one of the first drawings that I did this month with my birthday Prismacolor markers. I seem to have sunflowers on the brain lately - I am seeing them everywhere! I drew this one from the photo on a packet of seeds. Unfortunately, I don't have enough sun in my shady Northwest yard to grow any myself, but I look forward to seeing them at the Saturday farmers' market downtown in a few months.

i really love all your work and your style! its good to see that you also draw a little plan when you're doing cakes too! i really like the sunflower - strangely enough i did a painting of one this week as well!
