Illustration Friday - "Opposites"
Poor Peter! He passionately pines for Penny, his polar opposite! A tall, gangly country mouse who lives off the land - in love with a city mouse with champagne tastes! After a rough start, they have settled into a happy routine. Here, Peter returns from his weekly trip to town to pick up Penny's "essentials."
Drawn with black Micron pen, Prismacolor markers, and colored pencils.

Wow, that's love for you. How sweet an interpretation of this old nursery rhyme. I love the mice and how quaint the pumpkin house is. Great details from the curtains to the wheelbarrow items. A real gem of an illustration!
i love it and second all that amy said
Another beautiful illustration with great detail. Are you really thinking about transitioning into water colours and/or other type of paint? I am sure you would do great at that. Looking forward to seeing more of your drawings.
