Inspire Me Thurs. - "The Great Watermelon Adventure"

OK, I really WAS inspired by this "childhood memory" theme. I like the idea of recording these stories for generations to come...no one else (except the involved persons) in the world knows these crazy stories! They should be saved! I'm curious to see what my sweet Sweester thinks of this...do you remember it happening like this?

Cute story and comic style! You're right - recording stories for generations like what you've done shares your memories and your artwork. What a fun way to journal!

what a sweet story! I love how your illustrated it. I felt sorry for you when the watermelon fell and broke, but at least you still got to eat it!!

I'm so happy you did this! Comics are a great way to tell a story and often the best stories are the real ones. I hope this is the first of many more to come :)

Wow, you are so talented! I'd eagerly buy a book of little cartoon vignettes like this. Beautiful colors too.
