A series of sketches of my hand (and my son's) at the dentist office today, and at the pediatrician's AGAIN! Aren't hands amazing? When I think of all I do - drawing, cake decorating, knitting, crochet and sign language - that I express myself in using my hands - I am so thankful to God for his amazing design! I remember when I was about 16, several people complimented me on how beautiful my hands were and said I should be a hand model. Shortly after this happened, as my little head swelled, I burned my hand severely while working at Kentucky Fried Chicken for the summer. There went my modeling career! But my hands, a little scarred as they are, serve me just perfectly!
