We drove up north today to our traditional tree farm, and cut down a beautiful tree. I'm no evergreen expert - I can't tell you the type. It was very cold and the ground was muddy, but at least it wasn't raining! Snow is predicted tonight.
When we got home we put the tree in the stand in the driveway and gave it a bath. We sprayed it thoroughly with Veggie-Wash and showered it off, in hopes of avoiding bringing allergens (well, at few as possible) into the house. After it dries in the garage tonight, we'll bring it up to decorate tomorrow!

I too have lots of allergies to grass and plants...sigh...its so hard in spring with hayfever!
