Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Sigh... another snow day! Folks here in the Northwest are just not used to the snow and ice and every-thing comes to a stand-still. Our classes at the homeschool resource center were cancelled so we spent the morning doing some extra homeschool lessons. One of the negatives of homeschooling for the boys - the teacher LIVES WITH THEM!

But inside it's toasty warm. The last predictions for a windstorm did not evolve into the severe winds we had previously and we didn't have any power loss at all.

Hubby went out to do a few errands and picked up red roses along with the soy milk. My sweetie!


It would be a good day to make some more hot soup like the Asian Scallop Stew I made on Tuesday.
