In Memory of...

On this Memorial Day, I just want to say thanks to all those who have served, fought for, and died for our country and to their families for the sacrifices they have made.

To my husband, my brother, my father, my cousins, my uncle, and to many, many, many friends.

Thank you for guarding the gates, for navigating the planes, for developing the firepower, for leading your troops, for captaining the ships, for leading the attack, for taking the risks, for us. Thank you for missing the birthdays, for seeing the horrors, for not seeing the first steps, for giving your years, your future, your body for us.
