Backyard Sunbathing & School

It is so pretty out that we had our last day of homeschool on a quilt in the backyard. These are the perfect Washington days that make the dreary rains worth it. Mid-70s, low humidity, a light breeze, and no bugs... Ahhhh-hhh...

We had a couple pooches sunbathing next to our "schoolroom." Sammy loves to lie in the warm sun, and Gip loves to be wherever we are.

This lovely iris is the only one of the lot with blooms this year! I think I need to dig them up and divide them, they may be overcrowded. I have so many lovely colors. Iris is my favorite flower scent in the world!
