Inspire Me Thursday - "Black & White Quilted Tote"

I had recently picked up a bundle of black & white fat eighths when I saw the theme for last "Inspire Me Thursday" - Black & White! So, since I have been wanting to replace my grungy old totebag that I use for my homeschool travels, I decided to make a crazy freeform quilt and make one myself. I was inspired by Debra at littleblackkitty and had instructions for a bag from creativelittledaisy. It was fun to just cut and sew the fabrics together until I had a rough rectangle! I wanted to stick with the materials I had on hand, so the handles are just material reinforced with wide grograin ribbon and machine quilted in a vine pattern.
