Over the river and through the woods...

I'm off tomorrow on a solo trip to visit my Gramma on her farm in Michigan. I fly into Chicago then have a rental car for the drive east. I get to see my sister and her family too, hurrah! My sister's girls are into "spying" lately, so I made them a couple "spy bags."

Well, I didn't totally make them, the denim totes came in a 3-pack from Jo-ann's. I kept them fun and bright so they can use them for lunch totes or other purposes when the spy phase is over! I added lining, interior and exterior pockets, loops for flashlights and other "spy" equipment, and a "hidden" compartment! On the back pockets, there are clear vinyl windows to show their "spy IDs" that I am making with their photos. I hope they like them! And I hope I picked fabrics that they each like - since I put their initials on each bag, they can't swap!
So, have a good week, everyone, until I see you again. I'll be without a computer so I'll have to draw and post my Illustration Friday ("Phobia") late, but I do have a goal to do every topic for a whole year!
