I really like our house. It's the first home we've owned, after moving and moving and moving with the military. I don't want to move any time soon. But I have always wanted a beautiful view of the Puget Sound, like the homes nearby.

You get a sweeping Western view of the Sound and Mount Olympus and the Olympic range, on my actually-south-facing doors. Still in progress, as you can see. I still have the balcony railings, the floor and seagull to finish.j
This mural is an example for my new business that I'm launching, doing murals, borders and trompe l'oeil. What do you think? I'm excited!

I just found your blog thru a babycenter blog. You are like crazy talented...I mean seriously with the painting, and the sewing, and the cooking,and the quilting, and the garening....extrodinary. Your do very beatiful and inspiring work. We're remodeling our entire house (while living with my in-laws--if you're curious read the first couple of my blog entries) so if you get bored painting your own walls COMEE ON OVER!!!
