Why?
These pics are actually from a couple days ago - we have a LOT MORE SNOW now! I did go out and do a little shopping yesterday. I stayed in low gear all the way, even on the highway. Thankfully, people were driving pretty smart and leaving lots of skidding space. If you live in a snowy area and don't see what the big deal is: in the Seattle area, we don't get much snow and have very few snow plows plus they don't "believe" in salting the roads. So we get occasional plowing on major roads and some sanding. Otherwise, we're all on our own!

Merry Christmas!! I just stumbled into your blog when I searched gluten free cooking...my daughter was recently diagnosed with an allergy to gluten and I'm on a mission to learn as much about it as possible.
Not to mention find some edible gluten free meals! Nice to meet you!
ps I live about 20 minutes south of Seattle and I swear I feel like I'm looking into my own backyard.

It was all weird and wonderful. Mom got cabin fever from leaving the house for a week. I braved it all in the Jeep to get to work! Hope your holiday is good ;)
