Illustration Friday - "Phoenix"

1 Corinthians 15:55

Hmmm, I was stumped for this topic for a while and had to do some research. According to Wikipedia, the phoenix was used in early Christian art as a symbol of Jesus Christ's resurrection. I thought that this was a good chance to try out my novice skills in Adobe Illustrator again, since it just wasn't flowing on paper. I'm pretty happy with this result - much better!

god bless Adobe, no pun intended of course. Great job on the illustration. I have to ask, this turn out with adobe; was this what you were shooting for on the drawing pad? Just curious. Great Job!

Nice job and interesting take on the topic. The words remind me of a Petra song from the '80s.

Nice seeing a vector piece this complicated with no outlines. Didn't believe it could be done ... thanks for proving me wrong.
