Trying to keep cool around here! Most Northwest homes DO NOT have air conditioning, nor do we need it 362 days of the year. But for these few scorchers... WHEW! Yesterday it was in the mid-80s, today is predicted to be in the mid-90s. We went for a walk with Gip early yesterday before it got too warm (he's had a big haircut since the above pic, so he's better equipped for the weather) and we avoided turning on the oven by cooking our dinner pizzas on the BBQ! It worked too!

We've been enjoying the sun and the outdoors a lot recently. We went to the local 4th of July parade and fireworks, and last weekend my hubby rowed in a milk-carton boat regatta.

Have a good day! It might be a good one to go see a matinee in the nice, COOL theater!
